Marie Claire Martin, our first Employee of the Quarter for 2008

One of my last duties as President of the Utah region of Frontier Bank is also one of my favorite duties – that being to award the Employee of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2008.

I get more compliments and positive comments about this person than I do anyone else. I consider this person as the “signature employee” for our bank, meaning that when a customer thinks of our bank, this is often the person they think of first. She has been with the bank for many years and served in a number of positions, always to the best of her ability and with unbridled enthusiasm. She is the first person to offer cookies and coffee, the first to say hello, the first to hold a client’s baby, the first to pet their puppy and give them a biscuit. This person always has a smile and is easily moved to belly laughs (her laughter with a thick French accent actually lifts the mood of the entire Park City office). She almost never misses a bank event, a volunteer activity or a team building day. It’s been a real privilege to work with and learn from this person. She’s taught me what customer service means and how important it is to the recipient. She exemplifies the spirit and mission of our bank – “Striving to provide superior customer service by taking the time to learn about the personal and professional needs of each customer and responding quickly and effectively to those needs”.

She’s made a difference and brought smiles to the faces of literally hundreds of clients and employees over the years. Please join me in congratulating Marie Claire Martin, our first Employee of the Quarter for 2008.
